Luise Ehrenwerth / September to December 2024

Luise Ehrenwerth is a scenographer, stage and costume designer. One focus of her artistic work is on the diverse sensory perceptions of scenic spaces and their influence on the people acting in them.
As part of her diploma at the HfBK Dresden in 2018, she created the augmented audio reality project SCHRAPP SCHRAPP BUFF ZONG in collaboration with Nele Bühler, which investigated 3D audio with binaural artificial head microphones.
Repeated collaborations exist with the collective machina eX (“setup.school(). The learning machine” – theatrical game for the classroom) and the puppeteer Josephine Hock (including “Bär. Ein Zeitzeuge erzählt”).
As a fellow of the Academy for Theater and Digitality in 2021, Luise researched the link between costume design and digital technologies such as augmented reality and eTextiles.
Luise sees the practical implementation of her own designs as part of her artistic practice. To this end, she is constantly acquiring new craft and technical skills.

“I’m looking forward to getting to know the district and its residents! From my first visits, I am impressed by the diverse initiatives and committed actors from Preungesheim who shape and enrich life there and I look forward to getting in touch with them all.”

“For me, the Fliegende Künstler:innenzimmer is a place that can constantly reinvent itself. As a spatial artist, I find this changeability particularly exciting.”
