Das Fliegende S / FlieKü Preungesheim / May to August 2025
We are a social, performative art and design collective for the design of spaces and participation processes with a focus on sustainability and urban development.
In our situational practice, we bring people together through communicative interactions, performative, experimental building laboratories and playful urban observation processes in order to create a third place of encounter in public space and make art more tangible for everyone.
Together, we question how living together and the community can become more socially and ecologically sustainable and what it takes to achieve this. An urban art space is only completed through our equally distributed, joint activation of all participants.
We realize these open, interpersonal, physical and material spaces in building laboratories, participatory artistic research labs, commoning art projects, innovative exhibition and spatial concepts and scenographies in urban space.

“During our time in the flying artist’s room, we want to work with local people to consider how Gravensteiner Platz can be designed and used once the FlieKü has ”flown on”. To this end, we are inviting all residents to join us in opening up imaginative spaces for Gravensteiner Platz through various artistic and design processes, collecting designs and testing them out together in an experimental building laboratory. We look forward to getting to know the people of Preungesheim and getting active together!”
